Fleck 2510 SXT Digital Metered Valve Water Softener

The only difference between this unit and the previous one is that this has an electronic meter rather than a mechanical one. This is handy for displaying diagnostics in addition to water usage.

Fleck 5600 Econominder and SXT Digital Metered Valve Water Softener

The Econominder is the mechanical version and the SXT Digital is the electronic version of a larger capacity 2510. There is also a simpler, larger valve configuration that makes maintenance simple on the few occasions when it’s required.

Fleck 7000 SXT Digital Metered Water Softener

With this model you start getting into commercial use size. Of course if you have an exceptionally large home with an unusually large amount of water use this could also be a good fit for you. It has all the features of the previous models with the additional ability to run 35 gallons per minute to the facility.

One other consideration of the different Fleck models is that the 5600 family includes a special designed resin tank that reduces the amount of backwashing necessary. This saves money on both the amount of water used in the back washing process and the amount of salt or potassium used.
