Reverse osmosis uses a large amount of pressure to push the liquid through the membrane. If these are not enough for the water, then there are two other things that can be done, one would be to use another carbon filter and then lastly use ultraviolet light to destroy any microbes that might have escaped after the reverse osmosis was performed.
